Bangladeshi Girl killed after rape in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI: An 8-year-old girl was killed after rape in Shilmaria village under Puthia upazila of the district Friday.

The deceased was identified as Razia Khatun, daughter of Abdur Razzak. She was a class-2 student of local primary school.

Sub-Inspector of Puthia Thana Abdur Razzak said Razia was missing from Thursday and her body was found dead in a sugar cane field in the area Friday.

Her body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and she might be killed after rape.

A case was filed in this regard, he added.
