Shakib Khan, known as ‘King Khan’ among Bangladeshi film viewers, is the most successful hero In Bangladeshi film history. This is the first time he became ‘Brand Ambassador’ of any Bangladeshi brand.
A press release of the largest food processing conglomerate in Bangladesh PRAN made the disclosure Thursday.
Eleash Mridha, director of PRAN and Shakib Khan inked the agreement at a convention center in the capital.
As per the agreement, Shakib Khan will perform in TV commercials and different promotional activities of Power for next one year.

Chief Operating Officer of PRAN Beverage Anisur Rahman, Head of marketing (Beverage) Shankha Basu, Brand manager Romael Hasan and others high officials were also present on the occasion.
Eleash Mridha said, “Once upon a time the Bangla movies were cordially accepted by all. After passing some awkward situations, tremendous improvements have been made in Bangladeshi movies by various talented directors and artists.”

We are very happy to make him Brand ambassador of ‘Power’ energy drink. Music talent hunt reality show ‘Power voice’ is running on channel 9 by Power energy drink which gained huge popularity, he added.

Shakib Khan said, “Power energy drink already gained much popularity among Bangladeshi young generation and different people as a soft drink. Though I was offered to work as a brand ambassador of foreign products but I am really happy to work with PRAN, a popular Bangladeshi brand in home and abroad.”
“I have a lot of fan countrywide and I also like ‘Power’ energy drink. Through this program I will encourage my fans to get the taste of ‘Power’ energy drink,” he added.
At present ‘Power’ energy drink achieved much more popularity not only Bangladeshi young people but also Malaysia, Singapore and Middle Eastern countries. ‘Power’ energy drink is the sign of young lifestyle brand and full of energy.
Shakib Khan was born at Dhaka. His nick is Masud Rana. He started his film career through ‘Anonto Bhalobasha’ directed by Shonaur Rahman Shohan in 1999.
